Make sure your seat belt is fastened for the ride you are about to take. On this issue, are you among
the vast majority or among a very small minority -- the vast majority which says the following is to be ignored, swept under the
rug, and poses no problem or threat to our republic whatsoever. The small minority (usually branded as having narrow beady
eyes which are too close together, and breathing fire out their mouths!) see this as quite possibly the greatest moral crisis
our republic has ever faced in its entire history, and that it stands periously on the very brink of bringing upon itself
the wrath of a holy God Who is bound to respond to the unrelenting destruction of those for whom He has a most definite
purpose in life!
Time for an update! This is a chaotic election year -- among the candidates aspiring to be president
of our republic are those who support abortion and at least one who claims to be "pro-life." Three are listed below and
you can see how many unborn children have been brutally mutilated and murdered since they took office as senators from
their respective states. Certainly 2 of the 3 will never press for legislation that would stop the slaughter, but the third
one who claims to be "pro-life" hasn't been too aggressive about the matter has he -- he and our "pro-life" president seem
be peas out of the same pod!
United Methodist bishops are interesting people, especially on the issue of the destruction of unborn children -- they choose to remain very silent about the subject. See how many unborn children have been destroyed since these "shepherds" of the United Methodist Church have taken office and not so much as let a whisper pass from their lips about the U.S.A's version of "Holocaust!" So scroll on down to see the numbers for each bishop.

You may wonder why I include a bishop of The United Methodist Church in this collection of dates and number of massacre victims from those points in time. Bishop Bickerton is the bishop of the conference in which I am a member and where my ministerial credentials are on record as an ordained elder in The United Methodist Church.
Bishop Bickerton has been extremely aggressive in pushing the "Nothing But Nets" campaign in the W. PA Annual Conference. This is an effort to provide mosquito netting for families in parts of Africa where huge numbers die yearly from malaria. It is indeed a worthy cause with the bishop having stressed that about 1 million children in Africa die in a year's time from malaria. In no way are these comments to be construed as my being opposed to this effort. In fact my wife and I will be supporting it.
BUT never one time has the bishop expressed even a hint of a concern over the fact that over 1 million unborn children are brutally mutilated and murdered in the womb each year in our republic -- nor has the Council of UMC Bishops of which he is a member ever expressed a whisper of concern about the United States' tailor made version of holocaust!
The only concern coming forth from the W. Pennsylvania Annual Conference of The UMC so far has been a phone call which I received requesting a couple of things from me because of phone calls coming into the conference from somewhere. The request was that I do 2 things: (1) Place a warning notice at points on my web site that graphic images appearing in certain areas are not suitable for viewing by children and youth, such as you can see in the poster below. (2) That I provide a statement that views expressed on the web site regarding abortion do not reflect the official view of The United Methodist Church on the issue.
So, having honored those requests, I (and others) continue to wait for Bishop Bickerton and the other UMC bishops to issue explicit statements which declare in no uncertain terms that the slaughter of the innocents has got to stop! If not, the only thing this republic has to look forward to is the wrath of God being poured out upon us!

And if you want to speak to him verbally, phone him at 724-776-1499. However, if you send that letter by USPS, don't expect a reply -- the bishop doesn't like letters that may have a hint of "negativity" in them -- for him, everything has to be "up-beat" and positive all the time -- slaughtering unborn children in the womb "positively" does not fit that image!
By way of contrast, if you really want to go for a ride, ask any United Methodist bishop about gambling and be prepared for all the ins and outs of the evils of gambling -- no tongue tied problem on this one. Or ask about the death penalty and there will be no hesitation by way of response -- again, the jaws are very loose and you'll be told as to the evil of any state executing convicted murderers. But ask about mutilating and murdering unborn children and the episcopal leadership is suddenly afflicted with a severe case of lock jaw!
But then, why pick on just one bishop? There's a whole flock of them out there and you can pick and choose when you go
to United Methodist Bishops. Here you will find names
and addresses -- phone numbers, fax numbers and email addresses. Everything you wanted to know about a United Methodist Bishop,
but maybe were afraid to ask 
and the

There are no other active bishops serving from the time Sharon became a bishop. So she can claim more unborn children have been mutilated and murdered under her "watch" than that of any active bishop presently serving in the United Methodist Church. But it is doubtful that you will see this noted in the records of her conference!

I have been sending personal letters to each of the UMC bishops for quite some time. In fact, a number are retired to whom I have written prior to their retirement. In the letter they receive I enclose a copy of the letter which I send to the president and/or the vice president [Mr. President, We Need to Get Our Own House in Order First! -- if you go to the letter to the president, use return feature on your web browser to return to this area.] about once every week or 10 days or so. I raise the abortion issue along with other matters of deep concern. I am going around about the 4th time or so in some cases in regard to those who have not yet responded. At the bottom of the letter is a copy of the poster which you will see below about a moral wrong and a constitutional right. Maybe that sparked some of the phone calls to which I made reference earlier. Here is a copy of the present letter which is sent out regularly to some bishop (who has not responded) somewhere in the good old U.S. of A:

You will note that the letter raises a number of issues that are critical to the well being of our nation.
Some of those are extremely critical, such as the violent murders of over 48 million unborn children over a 34.7 year period, and have not been seriously addressed by elected officials nor by a majority of church leaders. We just turn our heads the other way, vainly deny what is really happening and how Almighty God views such antics in a nation which claims to be a "nation under God!"
I had written to you previously and enclosed the letter to the president, but did not receive a response from you as I have from a number of other bishops. I assumed, therefore, that you did not get the letter, so I am sending it again.

In addition to writing to the above mentioned people, personal letters (with copy of letter to president enclosed) are sent to members of the U.S. Congress, the president's cabinet, ambassadors of foreign nations stationed in Washington D.C., and leaders of foreign nations. Rarely are there responses, but interesting replies were received from Tony Blair's office and the Queen of England -- in the case of Queen Elizabeth, it was her secretary who sent the reply, but made some interesting remarks!
Once in a while a remark is made that it will do no good -- it's a waste of time, expense, etc. My response is always the same -- when I stand before my Lord and give my personal accounting as to what I have done in service to Him, I want to be able to say, "At least I tried to sound the trumpet warning and to reveal God's eternal truth in every way I could!" Persons such as Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Amos and others are noble examples of fulfilling God's calling without showing much of anything by way of response to their messages! Repentance from all sin was a most unpopular concept in their generations just as it is now, if not more so! And it was primarily political and religious leadership which contributed to the state of ethical, moral, and spiritual corruption at the time those prophets lived!
